New York based hairstylist, moved from San Diego to New York City in 2008 to pursue a career in editorial, fashion and celebrity work.

DJ is currently a freelance hairstylist at The Wall Group with representation both in New York and Los Angeles, a former Creative Director at the Serge Normant at John Frieda Salons and a prolific editorial and celebrity hairstylist.

After working extensively in New York and assisting hair icon, Serge Normant, DJ has established himself as a favorite with celebrity clients such as Katie Holmes, Sarah Jessica Parker, Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, Jessica Chastain, Julianne Moore, Charlize Theron, Reese Witherspoon, Mariah Carey and Mick Jagger to name a few.

He has also worked with notable photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier, Annie Lebowitz, Mark Seliger, Alexi Lubomirski, Russell James, Kenneth Willardt, Carter Smith and Mary Ellen Matthews, on work appearing in publications such as Vogue, W Magazine, Sports Illustrated Swim, Harper's Bazaar, InStyle, Elle, Glamour, Marie Claire, Allure, Interview, Cosmopolitan, T Magazine and Rolling Stone. His television credits include Project Runway, Saturday Night Live and And Just Like That.
